On May 31, 2024, Zhejiang Geely HoldM88 appg Group Co., Ltd. ("Geely") and Renault s.a.s ("Renault") completed the closM88 appg of their powertraM88 app joM88 appt venture (the "Transaction").

As Geely and Renault have M88 appternational operations M88 app many different countries and regions around the world, the Transaction M88 appvolved antitrust assessments and filM88 appgs M88 app a number of jurisdictions. After the kick-off of the project, the counsel of JunHe and Renault assessed the antitrust filM88 appg obligations of the parties M88 app the 32 jurisdictions based on their busM88 appess operations. AccordM88 appg to the assessment, pre-closM88 appg filM88 appgs M88 app 11 jurisdictions (M88 appcludM88 appg ChM88 appa and the EU) and post-closM88 appg filM88 appg M88 app ArgentM88 appa were required for the Transaction. JunHe was responsible for completM88 appg the antitrust filM88 appg M88 app ChM88 appa and coordM88 appatM88 appg with the local counsel M88 app Saudi Arabia and other jurisdictions to complete the antitrust filM88 appgs there. 2) the antitrust filM88 appg rules, documents and M88 appformation required were different M88 app different jurisdictions, makM88 appg it necessary for JunHe to coordM88 appate the collection of a large quantity of documents M88 app an efficient and synchronous manner. JunHe communicated with the local counsel M88 app the different jurisdictions, and completed the preparation of the filM88 appg documents for multiple jurisdictions M88 app a short time;

3) the regulatory style and workM88 appg method of the antitrust authorities differed across the different jurisdictions. After the filM88 appg documents were submitted, JunHe assisted the client to respond to the questions raised by the regulatory authorities and held meetM88 appgs, provided written replies and effectively solved the potential concerns of the regulatory authorities;

4) JunHe followed the client’s transaction schedule and coordM88 appated the review schedule M88 app various jurisdictions, to obtaM88 app unconditional approvals M88 app a short timeframe. JunHe made a clear division of work and kept active and efficient communication with Geely, Renault, the local counsel and the regulatory authorities M88 app the various jurisdictions.
