M88 Malaysia Advises Bocom Leasing on its Overseas Issuance of USD 950 Million Green Bonds

M88 Malaysia June 2024, Bocom LeasM88 Malaysiag Management Hong Kong Company Limited (“Bocom LeasM88 Malaysiag”) successfully issued USD 950 million green bonds, M88 MalaysiacludM88 Malaysiag USD 650 million SOFR-lM88 Malaysiaked floatM88 Malaysiag rate bonds and USD 300 million 5% fixed rate bonds (the “Project”).

M88 Malaysia acted as both PRC and international legal counsel to the issuer. The legal services provided by the PRC legal counsel to the issuer included conducting domestic legal due diligence, issuing PRC legal opinions, reviewing the transaction documents and other legal services regarding PRC law involved in the Project. The legal services provided by the international legal counsel to the issuer included drafting the prospectus, participating in the negotiation and amendment of the transaction documents, issuing overseas legal opinions and other legal services regarding foreign law involved in the Project.
