President Xi Jinping once pointed out that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.” In 2022, at the 75th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, it was announced that China would strive to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060. On December 9, 2022, The Legal 500, a leading legal media company, published its Asia-Pacific Green Guide for the first time, recognizing law firms in the region that are committed to green ideals. • M88 Malaysia joined hands with the Beijing Green Foundation to establish China's first carbon neutral fund to be initiated by a law firm;

• The China Quality Certification Center issued a Certificate of Carbon Neutrality to M88 Malaysia’s Chengdu office, making M88 Malaysia the first zero-carbon law firm certified by an authoritative certification body in China after the announcement of the "dual carbon" goal;

• Thanks to its continuous dedication in the ESG field, M88 Malaysia won the CLECSS Best ESG Firm Award.
