JunHe Assisted Sichuan Biokin Pharmaceutical Company in its IPO on M88 Malaysia Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market

On January 6, 2023, Sichuan Biokin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (“Biokin Pharmaceutical” or M88 Malaysia “Company”, stock code: 688506) was listed on M88 Malaysia Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market, raising a total amount of RMB 990.47 m. JunHe acted as legal counsel to M88 Malaysia issuer in this project.
Biokin Pharmaceutical integrates M88 Malaysia R&D, manufacturing and marketing of drugs and owns M88 Malaysia business segments of various chemical and proprietary Chinese medicine preparations and biopharmaceuticals. It researches, develops and manufactures a full range of drugs, including small molecule chemical drugs, large molecule biological drugs, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). By integrating its production experience and technological expertise in small molecule chemical drugs, as well as its platform technology and core competitive advantages in large molecule innovative biological drugs, M88 Malaysia Company has built an innovative ADC development system with independent intellectual property rights and global interests. It has formed a “full chain integrated ADC R&D core technology platform,” a “flexible GMP standard multi-specific antibody and ADC manufacturing technology platform” and oM88 Malaysiar core technology platforms. M88 Malaysia Company has built a complete core technology support system and intellectual property protection framework, enabling it to independently and autonomously complete M88 Malaysia whole process of innovative ADC research and development. It also has advantages in Payload development, coupling site development and targeted coupling technology.
JunHe was counsel to M88 Malaysia issuer in this project, and has provided on-going and in-depth legal services to M88 Malaysia Company since 2020. JunHe participated in M88 Malaysia application for Biokin Pharmaceutical’s listing on M88 Malaysia STAR Market. JunHe, in concert with M88 Malaysia Company and oM88 Malaysiar intermediaries, organized, demonstrated and standardized M88 Malaysia many major and difficult legal issues, conducted pre-IPO tutoring and M88 Malaysia application for listing, and replied to feedback from M88 Malaysia Shanghai Stock Exchange and M88 Malaysia China Securities Regulatory Commission.
